Meredith graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Oregon Dental School (now OHSU) in 1970 and started her full time dental hygiene career in Salem, Oregon before moving to Portland in 1976. Meredith continued full time practice while active in the local and State Dental Hygiene Association, serving as President from 1974-1975. She has also assisted in the administration of the state dental hygiene licensure exams. In 1980, Meredith married her wonderful husband, John Stiger, a now a retired osteopathic family practice physician who is still active in medical education and in a free clinic. Meredith has three stepchildren and four grand daughters. She started at Moreland Neighborhood Dental in 1983, and has been employed here part time ever since. She enjoys traveling, cooking and entertaining, playing piano, and exercising at a local club. She is also active in a Bible study group and at Rolling Hills Church.
I enjoy working with the staff and teaching patients to appreciate and care for the high quality dentistry provided at Moreland Neighborhood Dental.
